In store purchases made simple
The biggest impact you can have as a design consultant is to enable your client to deliver better and more customer centric services. At Danske Bank I was not asked to deliver a design for a specific product, but to help them build up the design culture, design team and design process in a digital product department.
The ambition
After having obtained huge success as platform for paying friends and family, Mobilepay was looking to become a business payment solution. This was a business critical task to make the solution financially viable for the bank.
So the task was to add new functionality into the app without harming the ultra-simplicity experience. Using contextual logic and a slightly updated design and information hierarchy we added functionality like iBeacons, QR codes, receipts, online payment and loyalty schemes – without tinkering with the core of the app.
