Expanding the Esso promise
The biggest impact you can have as a design consultant is to enable your client to deliver better and more customer centric services. At Danske Bank I was not asked to deliver a design for a specific product, but to help them build up the design culture, design team and design process in a digital product department.

The ambition
In this program we helped Esso deliver on a promise of convenience and speed through a mobile payment experience at their fuelling stations. But the real objective wasn’t to create a utilitarian app to help customer fuel faster, it was to create a basis for a new relationship between Esso and their customers. The app was therefore designed to become a gateway into future services and business growth opportunities.
